Hi, I’m Emily
My passion for aesthetics started with a love for makeup and a desire to help people feel confident in their skin. I began as an esthetician, but quickly realized my true interest was in skin health and long-term care. That realization led me back to school and eventually into nursing.
After time in the ER and years working at several distinguished medspas, I fell in love with the science behind lasers, injectables, and the power of a subtle, multi-modality approach. West was born from that journey—and from my belief that great aesthetic care starts with education, honesty, and a genuine passion for helping people feel like themselves.

Emily Bartel is a registered nurse, licensed esthetician, Sciton Luminary, SkinPen Ambassador, and Certified ZO Skin Health Expert dedicated to achieving natural, balanced results that foster inner confidence. With over 12 years of experience, Emily is renowned for her enthusiasm in helping patients reach their aesthetic goals through tailored treatment options.
Her passion for skincare and aesthetics has been a lifelong journey. Emily began her career in the field by earning her esthetician license from Clary Sage College in Tulsa, OK, in 2014. After several years as a medical esthetician, she advanced her education by completing her nursing degree with honors at OSU-OKC in 2021. Most recently, in 2024, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Throughout her career, Emily has worked in some of the top medical aesthetic facilities in the OKC area, continually honing her skills and knowledge. She is experienced in a variety of procedures, including BroadBand Light, Moxi, Halo, Botox, Dermal Filler, Sculptra, SkinPen Microneedling with PRP, chemical peels, and HydraFacial.
In addition to her clinical work, Emily is passionate about training other providers in the use of Sciton devices. Her commitment to excellence and dedication to the aesthetics community is reflected in her efforts to share her expertise with fellow professionals.

Amberlie Williams, RN
Registered Nurse

Amberlie is a highly skilled Registered Nurse at West Medical Aesthetics, where she combines clinical excellence with a genuine passion for helping others feel confident in their own skin. A proud graduate of Oklahoma State University—go Pokes!—she brings over four years of hands-on experience in the aesthetics industry.
Her journey began as a spray tan technician in a medical spa, an experience that ignited her love for the world of aesthetics and inspired her to pursue a nursing degree. Today, that early passion has evolved into a thriving career where she empowers clients through results-driven, personalized care.
Amberlie specializes in a wide array of advanced aesthetic treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers, SkinPen® microneedling, Moxi®, Halo™ and BBL™ laser therapies, and HydraFacial®. She is also a Certified ZO® Skin Health Expert, providing clients with professional, science-based skincare recommendations to enhance and maintain their results.
Her favorite treatment to perform is lip filler, where her eye for detail, deep product knowledge, and artistic precision come together to create natural, beautiful enhancements.
Outside the treatment room, Amberlie enjoys discovering new coffee and brunch spots, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family. Whether it’s a latte or an ice-cold Dr. Pepper, she’s rarely without her favorite drink in hand.
Shelby Sheldon, APRN, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner

Shelby is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of healthcare experience and a passion for helping patients feel confident, supported, and empowered in every stage of life. She began her nursing career in 2014 and earned her Nurse Practitioner degree in 2025, bringing years of clinical knowledge, compassionate care, and patient-centered experience into the field of aesthetic medicine.
With a strong background and passion for women’s health, Shelby was eager to combine her medical expertise with her lifelong interest in beauty and wellness. She believes aesthetic treatments should enhance natural beauty while helping patients feel like the best version of themselves. Her approach focuses on creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, cared for, and confident in their treatment plan. She values building genuine relationships with her patients and loves helping others feel refreshed, confident, and beautiful inside and out.
Outside of work, Shelby enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and two dogs. She also loves traveling and exploring Oklahoma City, always looking for new local restaurants and coffee shops to enjoy.

With a background as a salon and spa director and former business development director at a medical research facility, Chris brings both 20+ years of industry expertise and operational excellence to West Medical Aesthetics. His favorite part of the job? Being part of a team that feels like family—where advanced knowledge, thoughtful care, and genuine support come together to create an exceptional patient experience.
Outside of work, Chris is most likely hiking a new trail, diving into a good book, or working on his latest Lego build—usually with his beloved Cocker Spaniel by his side. He’s also a proud Star Wars fan who believes the Force is strong at West.
Tyler Phillips, M.D.
Medical Director

Tyler R. Phillips, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician and fellowship-trained interventional pain specialist with a passion for comprehensive, patient-centered care. A proud Oklahoma native born and raised in Edmond, Dr. Phillips brings his extensive clinical expertise to both Interventional Pain Center in Norman and his role as Medical Director at West Medical Aesthetics.
Dr. Phillips earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and completed his medical education at The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in Family Medicine at the Great Plains Family Medicine Residency Program at Integris Baptist Hospital, followed by advanced fellowship training in interventional pain medicine.
At Interventional Pain Center, Dr. Phillips treats a wide range of chronic pain conditions using state-of-the-art procedures and a personalized approach. As Medical Director of West Medical Aesthetics, he oversees all medical protocols and collaborates closely with the clinical team to ensure the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and patient care across all aesthetic and wellness treatments.
Whether guiding patients through pain management or overseeing advanced medical aesthetics, Dr. Phillips is dedicated to helping individuals live healthier, more confident lives.
